Minnesota superheroes, unite!
If you could have any superpower, what would it be? Many of us might choose invisibility, flying, super strength, teleportation—there are endless options!
But what if we told you that you already have a superpower: the power of generosity. It may sound cheesy, sure... but hear us out.
As we enter fall, we approach the busiest time of year for most nonprofits and schools. Organizations all around us are gearing up to house our neighbors in cold weather, feed families during holidays, ensure kids have the back-to-school supplies they need, and so much more. That good work we always see around us in our community and through heartwarming stories on the news is powered by the collective generosity of each and every one of us.
Your ability to give generously – whether that’s $10, $100, $1,000 or more – is a superpower that keeps our state moving forward. Minnesota is known as one of the most generous states in the country, but that doesn’t happen by accident. Each of us play a part in building that culture of care, and we all benefit from the important work of nonprofits and schools.
So, as you daydream about the ability to fly, teleport, or lift a car, we hope you will recognize the power of generosity that you already hold! Whether you give your time, talent, or resources, our state is made stronger by the network of nonprofits and schools in our communities and by generous donors like you.
