There are many reasons to be a fan of fall, including crisp Minnesota fall air, beautiful foliage, and kids headed back to school. Fall is also the perfect time to also explore how you can support the schools in your community, and the teachers who educate the students you love. We can help!
There are several ways you can support Minnesota schools using GiveMN.
- Make a donation. Jump-start the important programming your local schools and Parent Teacher Organizations (PTOs) provide this year with a back-to-school donation in honor of your favorite students. Simply search to find your local school or PTO’s fundraising page on GiveMN and donate.
- Schedule a monthly donation. Even better: set up a monthly donation to support your favorite schools all year long. Not only do monthly donations make giving more attainable by spreading it out, but recurring donations also provide funds your school can count on throughout the year. To start a recurring gift, click "Monthly Donation" at the top of the donation form on any GiveMN fundraising page.
- Set up a fundraiser. Best yet: set up a fundraiser for any school or PTO on GiveMN.org. Online fundraisers are a great way to support specific school campaigns, projects or funds, where you can set a financial or donor goal, layout a timeline, and talk about the campaign’s purpose. To set up a fundraiser, find the profile page of the school or PTO you want to help fundraise, then click the “fundraise” button on that page.
